A rather nice, secluded boutique hotel tucked in an Ilupeju neighbourhood.
The pros were that the staff were very cognisant of COVID-19 and kept their masks on. There is free breakfast of an omelette and hotdogs (which I didn't taste but looked okay). The room, though small, was very clean and comfortable. The food too, was tasty and moderately priced.
The cons were the room doors, which were the flimsy, wooden types with regular keyhole locks. I felt like one good kick could destroy them, and consequently, I was a bit concerned for my safety. Also, the pricing for the rooms was rather high. It's not expensive but it's not cheap either. (Or maybe it was because I turned in late and checked out early and so didn't get the full board service.)
Altogether a cosy place in a good neighbourhood.

The staff were polite but they made some simple mistakes that I didn't expect

I had a great time at The Cocoon Luxury suites Ilupeju. Their AC worked perfectly well. Even during the national grid. Their inverter and gen works fine. Great services , the only thing is that they are always fully booked. Well done 👌. Then Uber doesn’t enter the premises at night by 7pm. You will have to come down at the red gate side and walk in if you are passing the other entrance.
